DeFiSecret is an independent group of professionals passionate about decentralized finance, blockchain education, and the long-term development of the industry. We publish research and educational material — never trading signals. When we do promote a product or protocol, it is because our own research and honest opinion support it. We will never promote a project that does not align with our views and beliefs.
We believe DeFi deserves the same rigor as any other area of finance: careful analysis, honest framing of risk, and writing that respects the reader’s intelligence.
Our Story
Established in 2021, DeFiSecret began as a private research circle among colleagues with backgrounds in trading, banking, and early Bitcoin infrastructure. What started as internal memos became a publication. We excel at DeFi liquidity farming, on-chain analytics, and protocol due diligence — the unglamorous work of reading documentation, testing mechanisms, and tracking where capital actually flows. Over the years our notes on yield strategies, stablecoin design, and emerging protocols found an audience beyond our own circle, and DeFiSecret grew into an open publication serving readers who want research, not hype.
A blockchain analyst at GSR Capital Singapore, focused on market structure, staking economics, and protocol research. Spent years dissecting tokenomics models and on-chain liquidity flows across major DeFi protocols. Believes rigorous data work — not narratives — should drive every conclusion we publish.
Active in the Bitcoin ecosystem since 2015, with a long-term perspective on monetary design, self-custody, and the evolution of open financial infrastructure. Ran early node infrastructure and contributed to community education long before DeFi existed. Brings a healthy skepticism that keeps our research grounded through every market cycle.
Based in Singapore, with experience in financial risk management and regulatory frameworks across traditional banking and digital assets. Has assessed counterparty and liquidity risk for institutional portfolios for over a decade. Translates traditional risk discipline into frameworks our readers can apply to DeFi.
